What are these teams? The teams for AoCWiki are a free to join, very minimal requirement, focus groups aimed at improving the Wiki. It is a unique way for you to provide your own contributions based on your own skill set. So far these teams that have been "created" are: The Template Gurus Aim: The aim of this team is to work on the creation and maintenance of templates be simple or complex in order to improve the wiki experience, and even assist others in creation of requested templates (should they be suitable) The Enforcers Aim: The aim of this team is to remove any vandalism and enforce the AoC Wiki guidelines, or update and suggest possible guidelines for use. Currently only the Manual of Style exists as a base guide for editors to work from. The Lore Investigators Aim: The aim of this team is to verify fresh information that is added to the wiki without any clear source addition, or any "major" changes that are made on respective pages. The Assistants Aim: The aim of this team is to provide assistance to new and existing editors alike and should any help out new editors with wiki interaction and general usage. If there is a team idea that should be here but isn't, or you can think of a better name, then feel free to Suggest Something Different/Better. What are the requirements? So you've read up on the basics of teams and are considering joining one but don't know if you would be accepted? The basic requirements of joining a team are: A Willingness to improve the wiki for the community. To contribute to discussions on your relevant "team" actions (within your team of course) for smoother operation. Able to contribute to your teams focus areas as required, but within reason. We don't expect you to spend every day, all day on here. Just do what you feel is your fair share and appropriate for furthering the success of AoC Wiki. How do I join a team? To join a team, simply click on the [join] link next to a name on the right and add the following to the end of edit box * ~~~ then click "Save". Please note, you will need to be logged in when doing this.
