Due to personal commitments and high amount of inactivity, the AoC Wiki is looking for new Sysops. If you are interested in taking on the role of a Sysop for the AoC Wiki please post on the discussion page using the template below.
There are a couple of key criteria for being a Sysop.
- You need to be able to submit an application to be a wiki sysop without help.
- Show evidence of productive wiki work (be it on aoc wiki / wikipedia or another mediawiki site).
Some secondary things that will help.
- Be an active subscriber to Age of Conan
- Be active on the AoC Wiki
- Be active ono the Age of Conan Forums (EU and/or US) (atleast read them for general ebb/flow of information)
- Have some basic understanding of the wiki language
- Have some basic understanding of CSS and/or JS (not vital as Wikia has an extensive support group in this area of things)
Other than that it isn't much more of a day-to-day requirement on activity. Check for spam and remove/ban as appropriate etc. etc.

I'd like to further extend my work on this wiki beyond creating / editing articles. I'd love to enhance the experience of other users of this wiki and help to maintain it. I've experience in forum moderation, which might help also.
