Asgalun, also called Askalon, is the most important coastal city in Shem, situated on the Asgalun River. Asgalun is the capital for the region of Pelishtia, a degenerate metropolis which is "a contrast of splendor and decay". The royal palace of Asgalun is located in a walled inner-city.
