Beyond the westernmost fringes of Conall's Valley lie the Lacheish Plains. This region of rugged grasslands is reflective of the harsh landscape one will find in Cimmeria. Icy winds echo down from the highest reaches of the Eiglophian Mountains. Wolves prowl the lower tundra, while snow leopards search for prey along jagged slopes. A network of rivers flow freely between the barren hillsides, before daring their runoff into frigid lakes. The two major clans here have constructed an unified village over these waterways. The village of Brandoc is a testament towards the integrity born from a powerful alliance.
East of the village lies the dreaded Frost Swamp. Here, skeletal trees rise against a fog-covered sky. Bogs filled with brackish water await the unfortunate traveler. Still, among the stagnant pools and damp mounds of sod are secrets from a forgotten age. Legends tell of ancient tomes or arcane relics concealed somewhere within this marshland. However, few would dare venture into the Frost Swamp, as grotesque horrors lurk throughout its boundaries.
