Mannanan, also known as Mannanan Mac Lir, is an ancient ocean god. He ia the son of ("mac") another ocean god, Lir. Mannanan lives on an island that is known by the three names: Mag Mell ("plain of honey"), Tir Tairngiri ("land of promise"), and Emain Ablach ("island of apples"). He's also a skilled shape-shifter as well.
