Nithia is an ancient city of devoted priest who worshipped Ibis. The city was a contemporaneous rival of the Acheronian Empire. Nithia was protected by white marble walls and huge brass gates, while it took nine days to travel here from the nearest city. The Seven Fountains of Ibis kept this city alive and flourishing at the center of the Nithian Desert. Nithia's priest-kings were descended from Atlantean kings. A statue of an incredibly ancient Atlantean god, called the Grim Grey God, was kept inside the crystal-domed temple of Ibis. It was carved from a pearl twice the size of a man's head. The Acheronian warlord, Dhurkhan Blackblade, razed the city and claimed the statue for himself. However, the priest-kings magic buried him in the ruins of their city, during a sandstorm which lasted for 23 days. The next 3,000 years, Nithia was nearly forgotten, remembered only as the fabled City of Brass, which now lies in what became the deserts of eastern Shem.
