I met an injured scout named Deiric in the Cimmerian settlement. Deiric told me the tale of how his companions were captured by the Vanir and slaughtered one by one. He made a painful escape from the area, but not before he had seen a camp where the Vanir were keeping their wounded. He has asked me to travel to the camp and kill the wounded Vanir before they are healed enough to fight again.
