Journal Entry[]
I met a messenger at the docks in Tarantia who boasted that he could run faster than any man in Aquilonia. When I challenged him, he accepted, giving me a candle mark to run by the Southern Gate, the Stairs to the Library and the Bridge to the Noble District before returning to him. He has promised me money if I can beat his time at this.

This quest requires you to run a circular course through the city in an attempt to beat Cycaelus's best time. The keys to performing this quest quickly and easily are:
- Learn the map of the city: The route starts at Cycaelus when you accept it, and goes:
- past the South Gate
- up the Library Steps
- to the Bridge to the Noble district
- then back to Cycaelus
Note that all these locations will be marked on your map, but do not confuse them with the destinations for Finding your Feet (be sure you have the goal for this quest completed before moving to the next).
- Use food and potions: You will need to sprint for at least part of the course, so use a stamina-boosting food item or potion to help complete the task.
- Be fast on the keys: The timer for your quest starts the moment you accept it! You'll have one minute to reach each of the waypoints, so don't tarry.
