Overview ==
You will receive this quest immediately upon completing the previous Destiny quest, Shipwrecked. This quest involves speaking to your trainer at the Thirsty Dog Inn, requesting apprenticeship from the sorceress Mithrelle, and gathering items to gain her favor.
I. The Trainer of Mages[]

Journal Entry[]
I spoke to the wise woman Nadini, who helped me see how I can reclaim my past. She spoke of a powerful mage called Cramaleico, in the Thirsty Dog Inn, who can help me reawaken my potential as a mage. Nadini also told me of Strom, the tyrant ruler of Tortage. It seems his Red Hand faction are enforcing a blockade around the city, preventing me from leaving the island.

II. Rescue Arias[]

Journal Entry[]
The mage Cramaleico has agreed to help me recall my forgotten powers, but he wants a favor from me in return. He revealed himself to be a member of the resistance against Strom and needs help rescuing one of their allies. A man named Arias was taken by Strom's Red Hand guards to White Sands Isle. Cramaleico fears Arias is in great danger there.
To get to White Sands Isle I need to use the rowboat in the north of the harbor. Cramaleico told me to search for Arias near a house on a hill on the south part of that island.

III. Return to Crameleico[]

I rescued Arias from Strom's guards. Now that Strom knows he is an agent of King Conan, he says he needs to lie low for a while, so he is staying back on the island. I must return to the Thirsty Dog Inn and inform Cramaleico that Arias is safe for now.

IV. The Sorceress[]

Cramaleico has asked me to become an apprentice to the Stygian sorceress Mithrelle, who lives by the volcano outside of town. She is an ally of Strom. The Resistance hopes that by becoming her apprentice, I can learn of her plans with the tyrant ruler. Cramaleico cast a spell on me so the Mark of Acheron is hidden from Mithrelle. If I earn her trust, I might also remember more of my lost powers. I can find her at night, in her mansion behind the Mitra temple.

V. Dead Men and Lotus Dreams[]

Mithrelle has agreed to take me on as an apprentice if I prove myself worthy. She has commanded me to gather a Lotus flower from her garden, an eyeball from a caged dead man in the barrack square and a trinket belonging to a resistance member, which can be found in the Executioner's alley north of the barrack square.

A woman called Valeria saved a member of the resistance by killing the executioner. She gave me the trinket Mithrelle sent me to find, even though she was worried Mithrelle would use it to harm the resistance. I also found the Eyeball and the Lotus flower. Now I must return to Mithrelle, become her apprentice, and question her without raising her suspicions.

I helped Cramaleico rescue a man called Arias, who happens to be an agent of King Conan. Also, I have been asked to secretly pose as an apprentice of Mithrelle, the Stygian sorceress. Through my undercover relationship with her I have learned that Mithrelle will use her powers to learn the name of the resistance leader for Strom.
