In a desperate attempt to keep control over the city, Strom's guards are tearing Tortage apart. The battle for the city has begun! The Resistance is fighting back against Strom and Valeria needs all the help she can get in liberating Tortage. Valeria wants me to kill as many of Strom's men as I can on my way to Nadini. Apparently the old woman has a gift for me.

Tortage is burning! Strom's soldiers are looting the city and the tyrant himself has taken the harbor, commanding the plundering from the deck of his ship, the Leviathan. The city must be freed, now or never, from the grip of the Red Hand guards.

I fought in the revolution in Tortage, when Strom tore the city apart trying to remain in control of what was left standing. Kalanthes, the old man I met on the beach after my shipwreck, revealed himself to be the high priest of Ibis and foe of Thoth-Amon. Thoth-Amon had branded me with this 'Mark of Acheron', but I escaped his power over me.
Strom was also marked by Thoth-Amon, and sought the Phoenix Medallion to free himself from magical domination. Being enslaved drove the pirate mad, and I slew him before he could destroy Tortage.
Valeria of the Red Brotherhood now rules Tortage once more, and I took a ship to the mainland, where my destiny awaits!
