Vistrix's Lair[]
Vistrix's lair is not for the faint of heart. Vistrix herself is a demon that has taken on the form of a great dragon. Players must defeat Vistrix in order to be flagged for Tier 2 content. Quests involved with Vistrix's lair are: Master of the Silver Peacock, Black Dragon Knighthood, and Draconic Hex (pre-requisite for this one from Kurtz). Vistrix is considered the last of the Tier 1 raid bosses.
Quests[]
Black Dragon Knighthood[]
- Earning My Honours: I intend to fight my way into the ranks of King Conan's Black Dragons, his most honored personal bodyguards! It normally requires years of faithful service to earn such as honor, but the King recognizes acts of great heroism and bravery. It is rumored that there is a dragon loose in the northern reaches of Cimmeria, in Atzel's territory. I will lead a band of warriors and destroy the creature, after all what better way to earn the title of Black Dragon than by battling one of the mythic beasts. Its lair is deep in the mountain beside Atzel's fortress. Skalds and bards will one day sing of this epic battle and my name will be upon their lips.
- Return to the King: I have been victorious in my battle against the great northern dragon Vistrix. I am ready to enter into the ranks of King Conan's Black Dragons! It normally requires years of faithful service to earn such as honor, but the King recognizes acts of great heroism and bravery. I must now return to him in his throne room in Tarantia with news of my triumph.

The Draconis Hex[]
- Unearthing the Legend: Kurtz the Nemedian believed there was more to learn about the 'dragon' in Atzel's territory. He told me of Acheronian ruins buried in the mountain. I need to search them for engravings or inscriptions. The entrance lies beyond Skammestein, the bandit prison camp to the north. I can follow the mountain path on the ridge above the entrance to get there.
- Return with the Legend of the Dragon Crown: I entered the dragon's lair and found some ancient inscriptions, which I could only partly read. I should return to Kurtz with my incredible findings.
- I found some ancient inscriptions in the dragons cave which I could partly read. Kurtz deciphered much of it, which turned out to be written in an ancient form of Nemedian. The inscriptions included an incantation used to break the dragon's power. This could be a crucial weapon in defeating the great demon Vistrix.

The Crown of Acheron[]
Demon Hunting: Kurtz deciphered the ancient inscriptions I found in the dragons cave. He promised to reward me if I slay the demon and bring the Crown of Acheron back to him. The entrance lies beyond Skammestein, the bandit prison camp to the north. I can follow the mountain path on the ridge above the entrance to get there.
The Demon Crown: The demon Vistrix lies dead in the Acheronian ruins and I have the Crown of Acheron. Kurtz believed there was some truth in Diol's ravings. The crown proves the dragon was not real and I should return to him at Chill Crawler Hill with it.
I killed Vistrix and gave the Crown of Acheron to Kurtz. He came to realize there never was a real dragon in the cave, it only came to be because of demonic Acheronian sorcery.
